The Prologue area is, functionally, the tutorial for the Story Mode of Dokapon Kingdom. It introduces Spaces, the most fundamental part of the game, and many important mechanics such as the Spinner and Battles.

Trivia

• All Monsters encountered in the prologue area will be Kobolds.
• The real-world location the Prologue parallels is unknown, if any.
• The Prologue is the only intentional area where a type of space's drop table depends on the space's location.
• Interestingly, the Castle in the Clouds and the Prologue Area share the same music, and they are both the only place in the game where Battle Magic Spaces, Weapon Spaces, and Shield Spaces exist.
  • The Underground Passage also shares this music.
• The Dokapon Castle's entrance is just a small hole for rats.
• The Prologue can never be revisited without starting a new game.
