Level 4: Escape – Escape from the Battle with out any punishments.

Field Skill: Pickpocket – Steal a random Item or Field Magic when passing another player on the board. An empty inventory space of the same type (Item or Field Magic) is required to be able to steal that type of item. It's possible to steal multiple items from the same adventurer by passing through them multiple times in one turn (e.g. with the use of a spinner). If two or more adventurers are on the same space, you will pickpocket one of them randomly when passing by.

Preferred Weapons[]

The Thief's preferred weapons consist of various knives and daggers. After the Gladius in Chapter 2, there are no weapons that provide the Thief a 30% damage bonus until Chapter 7, when the Combat Knife become purchasable in the Underground Passage. This can make it more difficult for thieves to keep up damage-wise with other jobs in the mid-game but come late game, they have a couple of strong options like the Deadly Dagger and the Great Tempest, both which increase SP and offer unique effects (insta-kill for Deadly Dagger and casting Aurora for Great Tempest).

Thieves have 6 weapons that provide a 30% damage bonus. These are:
